Feet First Vocal Program:
Tween/Teen Edition!

Liz, the owner of the Salty Voice Studio, designed the Feet First Vocal Program because she discovered in her over 20 years of teaching, that singers that have access to group work progress more quickly and with more confidence than those that take solely one-on-one lessons. 

It’s worked so well with adults that Liz is designing a program for tweens and teens! With Marguerite's invaluable input, of course! 

Marguerite can’t wait to adapt this program to your students’ goals!!!!!!!!!!

Here are the deets!

  • Weekly voice lessons with Marguerite!
    • The fun thing about these lessons is that we get to focus on YOUR goals. I’ll help you set and achieve your goals. What are you hoping to learn? What do YOU want to sing? 
    • These can be online or in-person—totally up to you all. 
      • The only catch is that if your student is sick at all we’ll move the lesson online. If voice teachers get sick then we can’t work so The Salty Voice Studio takes this seriously!
 
  • Last Sunday of the month your tweens/teens will have an online group class with other students your age in place of the one-on-one lessons. 
    • These classes are really our chance to dig in…
      • If you’re looking for audition coaching? Let’s do it!
      • Would you like to learn how your favorite rock and pop artists do all those cool things with their voice? Let’s listen and try some techniques ourselves!
      • Or, perhaps, like me, you love vocal riffs and runs?! We’ll demystify them in class.
      • And don’t worry, you won’t have to sing for the group right away :) I want you to feel comfortable and that may take a couple of meetings!
    • The classes are also an amazing way to give your student a community where they can freely express themselves. This is important for everyone, and especially for young folks! We’re all in this together, and having a like minded group of people can be very empowering. And we’re ALLLLLL about empowering here.            
                              
  • Includes all supplies! 
    • We want to make sure that your student has everything they need to succeed so we supply music and swag bags with cool voice tools. 
 
  • Performance Opportunities and Audition practice!
    • Two to three times a year, the Salty Voice Studio rents out the coffee shop across the street from our studio (we LOVE our Zoka Coffee friends!) to give our clients the opportunity to sing for each other, and for friends and family. These are opportunities to practice and show off everything your students’ have been working on.
    • We’ll also have at least a couple of classes devoted to the art and practice of auditioning! The classes will be designed based on what YOUR students need.
 
  • This is a 9-month program beginning the week of Sept 10.
    • We totally understand that folks have to cancel occasionally so we’ve built extra weeks into the year so if your student needs to cancel, no worries! You can either wait until the next week to meet, or I can send you a warm up video, or we can go asynchronous that week. We’ve got options :) 
    • If something comes up and you’d like to reschedule—no worries. You can change your lesson as long as you do it at least 48 hours before your scheduled lesson.
    • You are committing for the full program—we only have a limited number of openings and we’re saving the spot just for you!
  • Costs
    • 9-month studio membership is $375/month.
    • We know that finances can be hard, and access to the arts is important to us here at The Salty Voice Studio—please reach out if you may need a sliding scale rate. We have a few that we can offer so please don’t be if this may be you!
