"Liz is such a FUN teacher and I have already learned so much in my first semester working with her...highly recommend!"

Lisa Boyken
Feet First Vocal Student
Introducing the Feet First Vocal Program, ideal for beginners and those wanting to get back into the singing groove.
Designed to unfold over one or two semesters, this course features 75-minute online small-group classes, complemented by one-on-one voice lessons (available both in-person and online), along with some karaoke/open mic meetups sprinkled in for good measure.
And when we say small-group, we mean cozy gatherings of 3-5 singers - because camaraderie breeds confidence!

And don't worry, we've got semesters 3 and 4 in the works for 2025 so we can keep the party going!
In the Feet First Vocal Program, we’ll...
-
...laugh. Like, a lot.
-
...sing every class: no need to worry - you won’t be performing for each other until you’re ready. I mean, I’m not a monster.
-
...demystify the mechanics of the voice, because understanding why our voices behave the way they do reduces shame and those nagging thoughts like “WHY AM I TERRIBLE AT EVERYTHING?” (Just me? My shame monster can be a real dick.)
-
...hone our listening skills and dissect what singers are really doing, not just what we think they’re doing.
-
...tackle the dreaded “not practicing enough” shame. Let’s face it, sustainable habits don’t thrive on shame. #nothankyou
-
...discover how to integrate singing into our lives because it brings us joy, not because we feel obligated to. (Oh lort. Don’t even get me started on the “shoulds.”)
And did I mention...? FUN!

"Liz is a fantastic voice instructor! She makes her lessons so much fun and filled with so much practical advice. She showed me so many things not only about the sound of my voice, but how to add texture and emotion and expand my abilities beyond anything I thought I could do. My songwriting improved just from understanding how to put more feeling into my singing. I highly recommend her lessons regardless of your ability or goals." - Ed D’Alessandro

You will receive video recordings of every class so you can revisit those "aha!" moments.
Members-Only Access
Exclusive members-only website access with your personal class hub, warm-up library, class chat, and all materials (accessible through the Wix Spaces App - fancy!).
Swag Bag Full of Voice Tools
You'll get a swag bag full of voice tools to use in classes and lessons (who doesn't love goodies?).

Each semester will include three progressive karaoke meetups designed to build your confidence step by step.
Your Investment
$450 per month for 5 months ($2,250 total).
Payment Schedule
One month due at registration, then monthly payments on the 15th. Your registration payment covers your final month (like last month's rent - smart, right?).
Sliding Scale Spots Available
I hold five sliding scale spots each semester (generally $275-400/month instead of $450), prioritizing BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and nonprofit workers. Each situation is handled individually - let's chat about what works for you!
How to Join the Salty Voice Family!
Want first dibs? Join my email list for early access to Discovery Chat scheduling and invites to our FREE Wednesday Warmups!
Step 1: Discovery Chat (20 minutes, FREE)
Available Sept-Nov for the February semester, and Mar-June for the fall semester. Because I'm one human and I want to give everyone the attention they deserve!
Step 2: Initial Fit Lesson (45 minutes, $100)
If our chat goes well, you'll be invited to book this reduced-rate lesson. Think of it as a test drive - for both of us! I want you to know if you actually want to work with this human (spoiler: I hope you do, but I won't be offended if not). The voice is vulnerable territory, and connection matters.
During this lesson, I'm listening for two things:
-
Skill level (so I can match you with the perfect small group)
-
Pitch matching consistency - not perfection! We all sing off-pitch sometimes because we're human. But can you generally hear when you're off and adjust? If not, that's totally normal AND it means you're not quite ready for the program yet. I'll hook you up with resources and teachers to help you get there!
Step 3: Welcome to the Family!
If we're both feeling the vibe, I'll send you a registration link and hold your spot for two weeks. Change your mind? No worries at all - this is about what feels right for YOU.
Can't Wait for the Next Semester?
Check out my SUMMER intensives: "So You Want to Sing at an Open Mic!" and "So You Want to Get Better at Karaoke!" - perfect for keeping the momentum going between semesters.
Ok, class, repeat after me:
I CAN sing even if my voice isn’t perfect...
F the folx who told me I couldn’t or shouldn’t sing...
I don’t have to be a “natural talent."

If someone tells you that you can't sing, including yourself, please kindly tell them to f*ck right off. Respectfully, of course. ;-)
Important Dates: Discovery Chats opening up for my email list on Sept 1 and for the general public on Sept 8!
